A year after the loss of her husband, Madam G and her children were given a week's notice by the owners of the land to leave the two-roomed house her husband had built using some undressed pieces of wood. She and her seven children were forced to take refuge in this roofless, unfinished building in the middle of the rainy season.
They had to use tarpaulin to protect themselves and their remaining belongings during the many nights of heavy rain. Thanks be to God that today, through the love and kindness of some well-meaning Christians, Madam G and her children now live in a 3-bedroom house of their own.
